The people behind the practices, the philosophy, and the culture.
Amy was the 2003 Gatorade State Softball Player of the Year in Washington — a power-hitting catcher who went on to play at the University of Virginia. She brings 18 years of coaching experience across softball and baseball, with a passion for skills-based, age-appropriate instruction that builds confident athletes.
Off the field, Amy works as a Senior Software Engineer, bringing the same discipline and attention to detail to VBC's coaching and operations.
Nicole was a four-year pitcher and infielder at Western Washington University — a two-time GNAC All-Star and three-time academic all-star. She brings both competitive experience and a deep understanding of the game to every practice.
Nicole also works as a nurse, bringing a steady, caring approach to keeping our players safe and supported on and off the field.
James brings the energy, enthusiasm, and fun every 10-year-old needs on game day — while helping players build the confidence, resilience, and love of the game that lasts long after the final out.
